The bank is strategically planning to launch a mobile-based digital account opening application aimed at enhancing customer acquisition, optimizing operational costs, and minimizing abandonment rates while providing a superior customer experience. This application is designed to be both scalable and user-friendly.

In addition to facilitating account openings, the same mobile platform will serve as a conduit for introducing non-financial services, allowing both new and existing customers to access various services conveniently through their smartphones.

The bank is considering three distinct options for account opening:

• Instant account opening using the Aadhar number
• Digital account opening with Aadhar along with biometric KYC or Video KYC
• Digital account opening with OVD and biometric KYC or Video KYC

Furthermore, the bank is also focused on providing KCC renewal services to its existing KCC customers, thereby enhancing its service offerings in the digital space.
